4 Truths and a Lie

One of these things is NOT true. Any guesses? Share them in the comments and I will update the post at the end of the week with the correct answer.

1- I went skydiving for my 40th birthday. I had always wanted to do it so I grabbed a friend (the only one willing to go) and off we went. The view from 2.5 miles up was AMAZING!

2- In 2015 my husband and I went to Maui. It was my first time in Hawaii and I wanted to fit in as much as possible. One of our activities included taking a catamaran and going scuba diving. That was my FAVORITE activity we did that trip!

3- For our 15th anniversary we took an Alaskian cruise (which I hope to repeat one day). One of the many things I will never forget was flying out in a helicopter and walking on a glacier. WOW!

4- During a family trip to the Smoky Mountains, we went to a place called Cades Cove. I was desperate to get a picture of a wild bear and as soon as we spotted one I jumped out of the car to get closer. I didn’t get the picture AND had to promise my family I would never do that again!

5- 2016 took us to St. Thomas and an opportunity to go on a night time kayak trip. The kayaks were equipped with glass bottoms and lights. We glided over SEA TURTLES, colorful fish and lots of coral. I will never forget it.

So…4 of those things are true and 1 is NOT. What do you think is the lie? Skydiving, scuba diving, walking on a glacier, chasing a bear or kayaking with sea turtles?

**Update** Congrats those who guessed scuba diving. While we did go to Maui and we did go on a catamaran, we did NOT nor will ever go scuba diving. I don’t mind jumping from a plane but have no interest in going that deep into the ocean! I’ve watched too many nature shows with my kids and know what lives down there. Thanks for playing. 🙂

  1. I believe #4 is the lie. Although, I can totally see you getting out of the car to chase & photograph a bear & your family made you promise not to do it again.

Tim thinks it is scuba diving. Now that we are talking I think I may agree with the scuba diving too…

I KNOW that most of these things you DID do!
